Wain Estates Completes Bramhall Land Sale to Rowland Homes
Wain Estates has completed the sale of a residential development site in Bramhall, Stockport, to Rowland Homes on behalf of the landowner.
The 2.74-hectare site, off Lytham Drive, was formerly used as a smallholding. Working with the landowner and Stockport Council, Wain Estates successfully secured outline planning permission for up to 60 new homes earlier this year.
Rowland Homes will now bring forward a detailed planning application to deliver much-needed housing for the local community.
Ryan James, Land Director at Wain Estates, said: “We had strong interest in this site thanks to its sustainable location, close to Bramhall’s amenities. The outline plans protect existing environmental features while enhancing footpaths and walking routes.
“We are confident that Rowland Homes will deliver a high-quality scheme of family homes that will also contribute significantly to the borough’s affordable housing supply.”
