Outline Planning Secured for Bomere Heath Residential Development

We’ve secured outline planning permission from Shropshire Council for a residential development of up to 98 homes on a 12-acre site in Bomere Heath, near Shrewsbury.

Located off Merrington Road, the site represents a significant opportunity to deliver a thoughtfully designed new community in a well-connected village setting. The approved framework includes 15% affordable housing alongside approximately five acres of green space, creating a balanced and sustainable approach to development.

Bomere Heath’s proximity to Shrewsbury ensures strong transport connectivity, including direct rail services to Crewe and onward links to major cities such as London, Birmingham, Manchester and Cardiff. The village also benefits from access to schools, retail and leisure facilities, reinforcing its appeal as a location for new homes.
